Dom is 14 inches long (then length of an English cucumber) and weighs about a pound and two thirds.
How do you decide on a name for your baby? This is the name by which they will be called for years and years. It's a difficult decision pinning down the perfect name for our little baby boy.
We've been lovingly calling our little guy by his nickname, Dom, for the past 6 months and have a feeling that it will stick for months even after he is born, but we thought we'd give him a "real" name by which the rest of the world will address him. We knew we wanted to give him a name starting with "S" to honor Scott's grandfather who recently passed away, but had some difficulty agreeing on the perfect name. So after months of debating we finally reached our decision. We were going to wait until he was born to make the final decision, but no matter what other choices we come up with, we keep coming back to the same name over and over again.
We can't wait to introduce you to our son, Saffron! Okay so we're kidding on that one. No seriously mom & dad, we're kidding! To be clear, we are not naming our child Saffron, but you still have to wait until he is born to find out what his name will be. So until then, you can still call him by his nickname, Dom!
Yup-- call us teases, but we're still not spilling! Bribes are graciously accepted, but they do not guarantee an accurate answer. You have to patiently wait for 3 more months to learn this little guy's name.
