It's Dominick the Donkey! (by mom)

So different friends have different nick names for their growing babies to be.  One is calling theirs Jacque the cleaner crab a la Finding Nemo, one is just calling it their little critter.  Not to be outdone, Scott & I wanted to come up with our own nick name.

While in Phoenix visiting my parents for Christmas, Scott kept singing this crazy Christmas song that clearly is only popular back east as none of us had ever heard of it before.  The song is "Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey."  Well the song caught on and by the end of the trip everyone in the house was singing the line from the the song 'it's Dominick the Donkey' and it struck me that that's what we should call the little one while in my belly.  We're calling him/her Dom for short.

I have a feeling it will be an appropriate name once s/he starts kicking!
